Degree Structure
General Outline
 

The accademic year is divided into two semesters, approximatetly 22 weeks per semester. Students are required to complete 4-6 Units (full subjects) in each semester. B.A. (Hons) requires passes in 22 full units for the award of an honours degree and is a three year course. The Master of Arts degree (M.A. Hons) requires passes in 11 full units and is a one year specialist post-graduate course (15 months if units are taken on a part-time basis).

 

Courses are constructed from three main unit types. These include:

 

• Compulsary full units
• Optional full units
• Compulsary/optional half units, 1.5 units, double units.
